On October 1, 1992, I left my career of university professor to open my first State Farm agency in Vincennes, Indiana. I answered State Farm's call three years later to take over an agency of a retiring agent in Brookville, Indiana, and moved my family to the beautiful little community in southeast Indiana in which I live today.

I enjoy helping people and have spent time as President of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. I was also the founder and first president of Brookville Main Street, Inc, which has overseen remarkable progress of my town since 2003. I am a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College and earned a master's degree from Western Kentucky University.
